زرینہ شمیم فاؤنڈیشن کا تعارف

زرینہ شمیم ٹرسٹ (ZST) کو اب زرینہ شمیم فاؤنڈیشن (ZSF) میں تبدیل کر دیا گیا ہے، جو کہ کمپنیز ایکٹ 2017 کے سیکشن 42 کے تحت قائم کردہ ایک کمپنی ہے۔

ٹرسٹ کے انتظام، اسے چلانے اور اس کی نگرانی کے لیے زرینہ شمیم ٹرسٹ (ZST) کو باقاعدہ طور پر رجسٹرڈ کیا گیا تھا اور اس کے بورڈ آف ٹرسٹی (Board of Trustees) تشکیل دیے گئے تھے۔

ZST کی باقاعدہ دستاویز (Deed) 24 جون 2011 کو سب رجسٹرار دفتر، گلبرگ ٹاؤن، لاہور کے ریکارڈ میں بک نمبر 1، والیم نمبر 335 اور دستاویزی نمبر 1740 کے طور پر رجسٹرڈ کی گئی تھی۔

زرینہ شمیم فاؤنڈیشن (ZSF) تعلیم کے شعبے میں سرگرمِ عمل ہے اور طالبات کو اسکول، کالج، یونیورسٹی اور پیشہ ورانہ تعلیم کے لیے وظائف فراہم کرتی ہے۔ یہ ادارہ جنوری 2024 سے ایک نان پرافٹ ادارے کے طور پر کام کر رہا ہے۔ ابتدائی طور پر، یہ تعلیمی وظائف زرینہ شمیم ٹرسٹ (ZST) کے تحت دیے جاتے تھے۔ اس ٹرسٹ کو 2011 میں قائم اور رجسٹرڈ کیا گیا تھا اور ٹرسٹ کی نگرانی و انتظام کے لیے بورڈ آف ٹرسٹی تشکیل دیے گئے تھے۔ بعد ازاں، پنجاب ٹرسٹ ایکٹ 2020 کے تحت ZST کو ZSF، یعنی زرینہ شمیم فاؤنڈیشن، میں تبدیل کر دیا گیا۔

Zarina Shamim Foundation (ZSF) is working in the education sector and gives scholarships to girls for school, college / university and professional education. It has been operating as a ‘Not-for-Profit’ entity since January 2024.

Initially, scholarships were awarded under Zarina Shamim Trust (ZST). This entity was created / registered, and the Board of Trustees was constituted to execute, manage, run, and govern the Trust in 2011. Later, ZST was converted into ZSF under the Punjab Trust Act 2020.

Legal Status

Zarina Shamim Foundation is registered and incorporated as a not-for-profit public company under Section 42 of the Companies Act, 2017.

Governance

The Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors that provides strategic direction and oversight. Day-to-day operations are managed by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and management team under the guidance of the Board.
