Organizational Purpose: The Zarina Shamim Foundation (ZSF) is committed to advancing women empowerment by creating equitable access to quality education and professional opportunities for young women across Pakistan.

Through need-based scholarships, mentorship, and academic support, ZSF enables female students to overcome financial and social barriers and pursue their full potential. The foundation actively fosters confidence, leadership, and independence, ensuring that women are equipped not only to succeed academically but also to contribute meaningfully to their communities and the broader society.

Funding Source:  ZSF receives funding through research grants, academic collaborations, institutional partnerships, and project-based support from universities, research institutions, development partners, and other national and international organizations aligned with the Institute’s mission and areas of work.


Legal Status and Registration

The Zarina Shamim Foundation (ZSF) is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) as a non-profit public company under Section 42 of the Companies Act, 2017. This registration reflects the Foundation’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and public benefit.
