Currently an HR Associate at the Institute of Development and Economic Alternatives (IDEAS), Seemal manages recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations, alongside payroll administration, HRIS, and overall HR operations. She also supports policy implementation and organizational compliance, ensuring HR practices remain closely aligned with organizational goals. Seemal also volunteers with the Institute of Lifelong Learning & Development (ILLD), supporting children's personal and professional development. Saima Noreen is an academic and development professional with over 15 years of experience in educational leadership and gender and women's studies. She currently serves as Co-Founder and CEO of the Institute of Lifelong Learning and Development (ILLD) and as adjunct faculty at Government College University (GCU), Lahore. Her career has been shaped by a sustained commitment to advancing gender equity through education. As Head of the Gender Studies Department at Government Fatima Jinnah College, she led the launch and delivery of the college's bachelor's program in Gender Studies and represented the department on numerous institutional and external committees. She has also served in senior academic administration as Deputy Director (Academics) at the University of Home Economics (UHE). Saima's dedication to social equity extends well beyond the classroom. For over a decade, she volunteered as Director of Education & Policy at the Aalam Bibi Foundation, and she now brings this same commitment to the Zarina Shamim Foundation as a member of its Board of Advisors. An Erasmus Mundus (GEMMA) Scholar, Saima holds a Master's in Women's and Gender Studies from Central European University and the University of Łódź, Poland, along with a double Bachelor's degree from the University of the Punjab — a Gold Medal in Women's Studies and a degree in Educational Research and Assessment.

Hirra Shahid

Hirra Shahid serves as the Lead for Student Success in the Office of Student Affairs at LUMS. Her work focuses on designing and strengthening post-admission support systems for undergraduate students, with particular attention to students from marginalized and underrepresented backgrounds, to help foster a more equitable and inclusive educational experience. Hirra's interests lie in qualitative research and student development. She has previously worked as a Project Coordinator at the Institute of Development and Economic Alternatives (IDEAS), where she contributed to research and development initiatives.
